Old Manse will never feature nor produce ANY piece of "artwork" that has been even so much as within pissing distance of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.
Art is all we have left. It's all I have left. This world takes, destroys, and lays barren every single piece of what makes being human worthwhile. I am disgusted by AI and every single fucking techno-fascist that produces it.
I have never been much to anyone or anything. I am the quintessential loser. I've worked, toiled, tried my best only to come up short each and every time.
But I will never fucking use AI for anything. My pain, sorrow, and creative desire is all I have left at the end of the day and I won't let someone's jack-off robot TAKE that from me or other artists. Fuck off and DIE!!!!!!
At least I have my fucking honor, at least I have my work ethic and that is something I can smile back on in my final moments on this earth. At least I was alive. At least I always tried and never gave up.
"We can leave behind much more than just DNA. Through speech, music, literature and movies... what we've seen, heard, felt... anger, joy and sorrow... these are the things I will pass on. That's what I live for."
It's been many moons since this was last updated! Last year was a tumultuous one for yours truly, and the world as a whole....
Many tears shed, many glasses raised, much joy, much sorrow.... but there is something more to all of this...
Fear not! For I have returned! Progress is well underway in the realm of audible scriptures and spooky sounds...
a dark phantom at the foot of your bed lengthens over you and whispers....
"Big things coming sooooon...."
"I've been asking myself the same question for six years..."
Eternal hails denizens of the old web... This is the official site for Old Manse Productions. I created this website to keep the old ways of the web alive.
This isn't so much me partaking in nostalgia, but to keep alive the spirit of a time before a more homogenized online "culture" manifested. Back to a more candid time,
where the internet was in it's infancy and the common trappings you see today of online discourse and culture were not present. Before social media.
Before apps. Before influencers. Before tweets, swipes, and likes.
Here I'll be posting updates to the Old Manse, music, artwork, ideas, and more.
Stay tuned!
